$TSLA - 1/ @elonmusk was completely embarrassed in his truck reveal when the “Armored Glass” shattered from the “limp wristed steel ball impact” test.

He tried to make up for it with another test. But as @TeeKay_EV pointed out this was faked.

2/ In “limp wristed steel ball impact” test #2 you can see a blanket covering the door.

Why? Because the door was not fully closed and not locked in. I’ll show you why.

3/Right before impact, you can see the window fully closed: TOP red circle

3/After impact you see the door open up and window come down.

(Remember, the windows come down when you open and close the doors)

You can also see the door pop open. Bottom red circle.

4/ Before and after impact.

Window rows down and door pops open.

5/in this faked test, @elonmusk, tried to ensure the windows would not shatter by not “locking” the door in place.

The door was never fully engaged and the springback helped dissipate the force of the impact.
