THREAD: food addiction & fat shaming 🚨

I consider myself addicted to food.

👉I used to eat pizza until it hurt

👉Sneaking food

👉Trying to rearrange rhe wrappers of clondike bars that I didn’t eat to make it look like there is more left over

Throughout my life there was a lot of shame and guilt about this. That’s long gone.

The shame and blame is because being obese was considered a character flaw, not because of anything else.

2/13
What really switches this all for me was realizing that the food I was eating was literally and the effect of stress on me, biochemically was making me more hungry

When I looked into the medical literature it seemed any stressed, sleep deprived animal exposes to OUR FOOD, became “food addicted” and obese

Case and point:

Left almond butter jar outside after going shopping one day and forgetting to bring it in. The squirrel literally chewed through the plastic to get to the almond butter. I wonder if he felt shame?

My neighbor has a dog, when we put food in front of the dog he eats, two hours later when we put food in front of him again he eats, and two hours later again he eats. Should the dog feel shame?

6/13
Raccoons exposed to our foods in modern cities are becoming obese and diabetic... Should they feel shame?

7/13
The crows around the cities are getting dyslipidemic, should they feel shame?

8/13
Just last week at black bear and her cub rated my garbage can for three days straight for Halloween candy, should they feel shame?

9/13
The bottom line is our food is designed to make us eat more and any animal exposed to our food gets obese and sick.

10/13
So fuck shame and guilt and its not my fault. So am I food addicted? Yes. What did I do?

I went back to medical literature and learned how to eat to be not hungry...

Start with low carb, go as low as you can then add intermittent fasting.

If you are more hungry eat more low carb 🥚🍳🥩🍗🍖🍤🥓🧀🥦🦞🐟

If you need something sweet or savory make it low carb and use as infrequently as possible 👉 @RBGmix

Bottom line:

Well this is the result.
