1. Dear @wiltshirepolice . Are you really saying that all 331 people were murdered as a direct result of their trans status? This is an astonishing claim, and very persuasive if true. Our question is simple: is the claim true?

2. This is not a facetious request. You link these murders to a call to report Hate Crime/Incidents. As you my be aware, the HCOG is currently under intense scrutiny at the High Court & we would therefore advise you to be judicious when making such claims.

3. It is not acceptable to place in the public’s imagination two separate and distinct things as if they are linked. Citing McPherson, to use the words of Justice Knowles, will only carry you so far.

4. Please remove your post. Express regret at the deaths of trans people, however caused. But do not use tragedy as a reason to proliferate policy, especially when the ‘facts’ presented are, we suspect, not at all as simple as your post would suggest.
