Seeing a lot of things on here in support of Scottish Labour. I greatly admire Jeremy Corbyn’s manifesto and would vote for it if I lived South of the border. However, in my opinion, if you think the Labour Party up here represents the same ideals you have a short memory. Thread.

This is the party who stood shoulder to shoulder with the Tories in 2014 to deny us our independence. A party who lied to the working class of this country it supposedly stood for that they would be better off in the union at the behest of their London masters.

This is a party that, after more than a decade of centrism ended under Ed Miliband, was desperate to prevent Jeremy Corbyn from becoming its next leader. Only now that they have seen there is an appetite for his brand of politics have they suddenly jumped behind him.

I hope for a Labour government in Westminster come December 13th as my disgust for the Tories is limitless. However, here in my home country I cannot look past the lies they’ve spun and sides they have taken. Only one party has consistently fought for the rights of Scotland.

The SNP are the only party in Westminster to demand better for the people of this country at every opportunity. Only they seem to care that Scotland did not vote to leave the EU. Until independence is won and we can decide for ourselves, that’s where my vote will go.
