1/ I respect the hell out of ppl like @VisionCodeX & @TihoBrkan who offer advice, humility and demonstrable results to their strategies and mindsets. That said, I've felt I was overdue to start posting some results of the 4'ish years I've been in the game, starting w/ trades:

2/ Feeling somewhat naked w/ this being out in public domain now. 2017 was not a normal year, especially when it came to learning valuable lessons. It was an "easy" year to make gains because everything was going up. I should note, a NEUTRAL trade is < $100 in gross gain.

3/ The melt up into 2018 made me make some rly stupid, emotional trades that taught some invaluable lessons that I carry the scars of w/ pride these days. Better now early on than later in life was my thinking. $AAOI, $COHR & $HMNY taught me more in a year than any degree could.

/4 The December massacre of 2018 was a the final exam for the year, as I decided to hold through it all and flipped some trades I got extremely lucky on like $FNSR into cash to buy into the lows. $AAPL @ $150?! Good lord, why wouldn't you, the world isn't ending. It was brutal.

/5 To whit, the recovery in 2019 paid off that patience and discipline with a solid recovery and much more. Without having taken a serious ass kicking, I wouldn't have been determined to crush it this year to make up for it. Seeing that < 2% total loss for 2019 makes me smile.

/6 My inner circle have all said they'd have given up after 2018, but without #skininthegame you'll never truly know how to measure risk, emotion and find the simple truths about markets, finance & ppl. The game is NOT easy. 90% of ppl should never try it. But those that do...

/7 ....quickly realize that they know nothing. Every day is a learning experience. Every trade a new lesson. Every investment, a new adventure. Every year is a brand new story. Evolve, find your own, personal edge, and find true mentors that remind you to IGNORE THE NOISE.
