Folks with teenage kids;

I would like to share an incident that happened to me. I play warcraft and in a common place I met this teenager with no clue where to go. So I help them out. Today I saw them online - Upon querying they responded they are being cyberstalked.

Basically this dude would send them lewd comments on snapchat and everywhere else. So in turn I asked them to inform police and parents. They said parents asked to block the dude and move on. But this teenager was scared of him in real life.

We do OSINT for a living. Within few minutes I told them to make their tiktok/youtube/instagram account private. Which I found just with google. There was too much information about this person on internet.
Dear parents please speak to your kids. Specially if they are teenagers.

This teenager was scared in real life because of cyberstalking. Parents were like 'block him'; but thats not a defensive measure at all. I angry to be honest and helpless as I felt protective about this person. The stalker knew where this person went to college and stuff.

All because of over sharing of information. You know the drill. Talk to your kids before you buy them iPhone for christmas.

No one gives a shit. (Until oh no the world is bad and she should have known better)
