Let this be very, very clear:

Your sexuality, your consensual sexual activity, fetishes, and/or kinks will never, EVER mean that you deserve to be abused. Those things will never EXCUSE abuse. Never.

Sex workers do not deserve abuse.
Folks interested in BDSM do not deserve abuse.
Sexually open/expressive folks do not deserve abuse.

It is appalling, horrifying, and saddening beyond belief, to see how many people will use a person's sexuality to justify their abuse, their kidnapping, even their murder.

These posts keep coming across my timeline and I'm sickened.

Just an additional note, since so often folks try to twist it: I am talking about justifying NON-CONSENSUAL ACTIVITY. This is not a knock at hard kinks or edgeplay - those things are consensual and are NOT the topic here.
