Some folks here seem upset that a rabbi has opinions on politics & justice; one person thought I seemed "angry."

You know what?

I AM ANGRY!

I'm angry there are white nationalists in the white house.

I'm angry there are babies in cages.

I'm angry the president is a traitor.

I’m angry women are harassed, aren’t paid fairly, & aren’t taken seriously.

I’m angry people can’t afford their insulin and are DYING.

I’m angry that we are leaving the planet a mess & aren’t seriously addressing the climate crisis.

And I’m angry at the NRA & too many guns.

I’m angry that Muslims are harassed.

I’m angry that Black and Brown people are being murdered at alarming rates.

I’m angry Native people are still being treated as subhuman.

And I’m angry that people believe a single damn word that Trump, Pence, & their vile ilk spew.

Let’s be clear, all of us:

Our job is to channel our righteous anger at how our neighbors our treated into fierce, unrelenting love-

And to organize, mobilize, & elect decent human beings up & down the ballot.
