Right then, here's yer man Scullion's Big Thread of Recommended UK eShop Cyber Sale Deals™.

These deals are all currently on the UK eShop, and are games that either:

• I personally love, or
• I haven't played but are wildly praised and have a significant discount.

Let's go
99Vidas - Definitive Edition
£3.99 (was £7.99)

Fun retro-style beat 'em up developed in Brazil. Proper Scott Pilgrim vibes.
Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection
£7.99 (was £15.99)

Seven brilliant retro Konami shoot 'em ups (plus Haunted Castle, which is shit) and a great behind-the-scenes ebook with loads of sketches
Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle
£7.99 (was £15.99)

If you like beat 'em ups as much as I do, this one's a no-brainer. Seven great arcade brawlers including Final Fight, Captain Commando and the incredible Armored Warriors.
Cadence of Hyrule
£15.74 (was £22.49)

Still haven't got round to playing this but haven't known anyone to hate it yet. Getting nearly seven quid off sounds good to me. There's a free demo if you want to try that first.
Castlevania Anniversary Collection
£7.99 (was £15.99)

Seven great Castlevania games (plus Simon's Quest). Like the other Konami collections it's got its own making-of ebook too.
Contra Anniversary Collection
£7.99 (was £15.99)

Well, it would be rude to mention two and not the third one. Seven of the best run 'n gun games of all time, available in their western and Japanese versions.
Dragon Ball FighterZ
£14.99 (was £49.99)

Haven't played this but it looks incredible and by all accounts Dragon Ball fans get a kick out of it. 70% off is a great deal.
Dark Souls Remastered
£20.99 (was £34.99)

If you haven't bought Dark Souls on Switch yet, getting it when it's got £14 off is probably a good time to do it.
Disgaea 5 Complete
£16.49 (was £49.99)

Hundreds of hours of gameplay in this well-written strategy RPG.
Gone Home
£5.99 (was £11.99)

Not all games need to be challenging. This was one of the games that spawned the 'walking simulator' term but it's a beautiful experience.
Horizon Chase Turbo
£8.99 (was £17.99)

If you long for the days of arcade-style racers like Out Run and Top Gear on the SNES, this is near-perfect. Fantastic music and silky 60fps racing. Easily one of my favourite games of last year.
Katamari Damacy Reroll
£7.99 (was £15.99)

An HD remaster of the original Katamari Damacy. If you've never played this mental roll 'em up before, have at it now.
Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2
£7.99 each (were £11.99 each)

The first contains Mega Man 1-6 and the second contains Mega Man 7-10. Two brilliant compilations if you're looking for rock-hard action platforming. If you can only get one, get the first.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2
£7.99 each (were £15.99 each)

Same deal here. The first has Mega Man X 1-4 and the second has Mega Man X 5-8.
Miles & Kilo
£1.43 (was £7.19)

This beautiful little platformer is best when you're trying to get perfect runs on each of its stages. It'll only take you a couple of hours to beat, but now it's only £1.43 it's absolutely worth it.
New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe
£34.99 (was £49.99)

You know the deal with this one, but it's rare for a Mario game to get £15 lopped off the price so if you don't have it yet this is the time to strike.
Overcooked Special Edition
£6.11 (was £17.99)

One of the best local multiplayer co-op games you'll play on the Switch.
Sega Ages Virtua Racing
£2.99 (was £5.99)

There are a few other Sega Ages games going for £2.99 too (Alex Kidd, Sonic, Phantasy Star, Wonder Boy: Monster Land) but this is easily the best. Its basic polygonal graphics look beautiful in full 1080p at 60fps.
SNK 40th Anniversary Collection
£21.59 (was £35.99)

This collection of pre-Neo Geo titles originally launched with 13 games but was later updated to 25. It has easily the best ever archive too, with a huge interactive museum section covering all 74 SNK games between 1978-1990.
Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection
£17.99 (was £44.99)

12 classic Street Fighter games including every version of SFII, the Street Fighter Alpha trilogy and the Street Fighter III trilogy. Definitive stuff for fans of the series.
Thumper
£3.99 (was £15.99)

This fantastic rhythm action game's best played in VR, but playing in handheld mode with headphones on and practically no input lag is the second best way to experience it.
That's all. There are over 350 deals in total: these are just my picks, everyone else will have plenty of others.
