Never wanted to be a field researcher myself but maybe we could stop acting like it’s the height of animal research considering it’s also the most exclusionist to disabled people. I get why but we need to stop viewing captive science as less is we want equality in #AnimalScience

A person in a wheel chair can get around a lab or a zoo but can they get to and function in a field site? What about people that need reliable refrigeration for medication, like myself? Field work doesn’t automatically mean you’re badass but that you’re abled #DisabledinSTEM
