Few weeks ago, I was walking in a parking lot w/ my husband & daughter when an SUV came flying thru. We pulled back, as did people trying to cross the other direction, & my husband threw up his hands. No response, so he chased the SUV to where it’d stopped abruptly at a stop sign
Not gonna lie, my first reaction was not entirely supportive of my husband chasing down a potential crazy person for not slowing down since no one was hurt. This is not typical behavior for my husband, either; it was an initiation of confrontation & he’s not big on that.
So he chases the car to where it’s stopped and yells “SLOW DOWN!” at the window, then starts stalking back toward us, smacking the car’s tail light as he passed it. He was PISSED. And truly, had we not been right next to our daughter, she could have been hit. Papa Bear was out.
Well after he smacks the tail light, the passenger door pops open, and an overweight middle aged women half leans out and shrieks “DON’T TOUCH MY CAR!” He whips around and yells “THEN SLOW DOWN - YOU’RE IN A PARKING LOT!”
The woman fully gets out of her car screaming “I’M TRYING TO TEACH A KID TO DRIVE HERE AND-“

So this is when it got really interesting.
There was a man & a woman (together) who had been on the other side, along w 2 women (separate) when this all happened. And the man comes forward and cuts her off, saying “Then you need to tell him to SLOW DOWN”, and my husband is essentially saying the same thing simultaneously.
Not noticing the surrounding circumstance yet, the crazy passenger woman is fully out of her rig and walking belligerently toward my husband at this point yelling “WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO ABOUT IT? YOU WANT TO GO?!”
So essentially you have an overweight woman of indeterminate middle age, trying to get my husband who is not overweight and very likely could kick her ass if need be, to hit her. And I already know he’s in the losing position no matter what he does because she’s female.
So at that point I step forward and yell that she needs to tell her kid to slow down because they could have easily hit my daughter with their car, and then the guy and his girlfriend and the two other women start yelling at her too and her face, you guys, HER FACE.
She either expected everyone in that lot to go about their business pretending nothing was happening, or sympathize with her white trash ass on the basis that she was a woman using her teenage whatever as a human shield. At no point did she consider the lot would be against her.
But boy they sure were. She quickly scurried back into her car where they sat a surprisingly long time at the stop sign considering the hurry they seemed to be in at the outset. Long enough for me to snap a picture of the car & visit with the two women.
Both women begged me to send the pic to the cops and report the vehicle for bad driving. Honestly I just took the picture to mess with the woman, there’s not much can be actually done since no one was harmed. The women said they’d been sipping around the parking lot for a while.
One of the women claimed she’d almost been hit crossing when she’d first arrived by the same car. Regardless, nobody felt even a tiny modicum of sympathy for Mrs. Jerry Springer nor did they seem anything but pleased that my husband chased her down and slapped her tail light.
This got me thinking about how ordinary people are just fed up with this bullish bad behavior. I also was nervous about my husband, who is in the military, being painted on social media as a crazy person by this woman. She may not have gotten the sympathy of people there, but...
by leaving a few key details out she could have easily made the outrage mob on social media think this evil sexist man attacked her child and her while out learning to drive and almost had a fight with her. What if she was a minority? Then she could call him racist.
So I sent the pic I snapped to the local cops, with a brief description of what happened. I knew they couldn’t do anything, I just wanted it on record. Because we live in strange and frustrating, nonsensical times.

And people are fed up with nasty behavior just being let go.
And that’s what this video made me think of, as the videographer people chortled and chuckled at the guy kicking the crap out of the loser in the street for blocking him.

So many people are fed up with this crap. SO MANY.

It’s coming to a boil. https://twitter.com/vicd31/status/1197884725043613700?s=21
