Introversion is one of those highly misunderstood qualities...Even by introverts themselves. Knowing and understanding self (and others) can help us so much to harness our true power and potential... for example:

Here are two people you probably didn't think were introverts :
1. Oprah Winfrey (One of the greatest talk show hosts in the history of television)
2. Michael Jordan (Arguably one of the greatest basketball players and sports personalities of all time)

Introverts can actually make some of the best conversationalists, performers, leaders, project managers and artists you'll ever see. Coz introversion is about energy creation and spending. Whereas extroverts get their energy from their surroundings, introverts create from within

That's why small talk, random phone calls, random plans (though I do enjoy these when it's solo or with other introverts ), socialising on a whim can be overwhelming...All this energy has to be planned and managed..Exactly like a wallet. I know what I'm spending and what's left

And that's the same reason you will rarely hear an introvert saying they're bored... Fun can be something as simple as sleeping in, watching a movie, reading a book, taking a walk...or even just...BEING. Literally. Alone is epic...It gets even better when it's with peeps you like

I had to learn to accept myself for my introversion because growing up, I always heard how I should speak up or be like so and so, be more fun, be more outgoing..Basically..Don't be me..Lol...but what does that really mean?

It's about comfort for an introvert... about meaning... being comfortable in our own skin (Although we have to learn this because society is hot-wired to the notion that fun MUST be loud, fast and disruptive)

Because introverts take in everything, feel everything and pay attention to how what they see, hear and experience affects them (hence the need to constantly recharge), they make for great listeners. And whatever they put their minds to, they can be REALLY good at.

As long as after doing what they do, they can have time to recharge. Don't call... text... send a smoke signal..we'll get back to you
