If you& #39;re a neophyte jr activist bottle calf raiser calling me for the first time on a Friday morning when I& #39;m already booked til 7pm with regular clients, here& #39;s some pointers:
1. Don& #39;t refer to it as a "baby cow"; true, but it& #39;s called a calf.
2. You& #39;ve been doing "everything"
1. Don& #39;t refer to it as a "baby cow"; true, but it& #39;s called a calf.
2. You& #39;ve been doing "everything"
for 5 days. "Everything" is giving it multiple shots of LA 200 and squirting water in it& #39;s mouth.
3. And lastly, don& #39;t quip, "we got them from a dairy, and you know how dairy farmers rip them away from their mothers".Listen, you& #39;re the one that let this calf suffer without proper

Treatment for 5+ days. That never happens on any of my dairies. If it& #39;s outside our normal protocols or not responding, I get a call immediately. Bless those poor calves. Sorry, but I have no patience for these sanctimonious, know-it-all rescue types that think cause they google
It and talk to their little rescue friends, think they are damn experts on animal husbandry; especially farm animals. They believe all the BS they see on the web about farmers. I work regularly with some fantastic folks that foster and re-home pets and livestock. They do a great
Job. They& #39;ll ask for advice before they add an unfamiliar species. I love y& #39;all. Ok, I& #39;ll get back to work now and try not to be grumpy
