It sounds pretty naive to say this in 2019, but I still believe that truth exists. I still believe that Reality is (at least partially) knowable. And I still believe that it matters. (1/3)

And while no side owns ALL the truth or ALL the flaws, I passionately reject the laziness of false equivalence. Not every perspective is equal. Not every belief is equally life-giving or dangerous. Some things are actually more good, beautiful, and true than other things. (2/3)

So may we resist those who are weaponizing a false equivalence today and every day. Our choices matter. And may we humbly choose a path that makes us more likely to receive the truth when it emerges, and more loving to those around us along the way. (3/3)
