I've tweeted a lot about my own campaign, but I'd like to mention a @TheGreenParty candidate who really inspires me - @HelenGeake, candidate for Bury St Edmunds

This long predates my involvement with the Green Party, back to when I started my enthusiasm for #Archaeology...
When I was little I was an avid fan of Time Team on Channel 4 (on which Helen was featured) and I became particularly interested in Anglo-Saxon and early Medieval archaeology. I visited museums and amazing sites like West Stow in Suffolk (where I later worked for a month!).
When it came to my A levels, I wanted to do a project on life in Early Anglo-Saxon England, and I decided that I'd email Helen and ask if she had any information or advice that might help me.
This is 8 years ago so she may not remember, but she sent me really helpful information and a presentation she'd done on the subject, as well as words of encouragement.

In the end, my project got me my highest mark at my A levels!
Then I went on to study Archaeology and Anthropology at #Exeter, and continued to focus on Anglo-Saxon archaeology whenever I could. It was in Exeter where I was introduced to @exetergreens and got more and more involved til I became the parliamentary candidate I am today!
When I discovered Helen was a Green Party candidate, I was so excited, as she was hugely influential on my love of archaeology, so to know that we share the same values (many of which were inspired by the evidence-based approach of archaeology) is amazing.
So thank you Helen, for being an archaeology hero and for indirectly helping me towards Exeter and the Green Party. You'll be a great MP!
