One important thing from yesterday’s hearing:

Republicans were incredibly rattled by Fiona Hill openly calling them out for acting as if Russian propaganda about Ukraine is true.

They were shook.

They want to benefit from Russian propaganda without being called out on it.

We have seen this in other places but it wasn’t until yesterday that I realized how sensitive they are to attacks on this.

“Moscow Mitch” rattled even McConnell.

There’s something useful there.

When politicians are sensitive, they’re influenceable.

We should hammer this one.
There are eight minority members on the House Intel committee.

We should hammer them here in the open about their promotion of Russian talking points... and we should hammer their offices with calls.

“Hi, I’m calling to register my disgust with _____ for serving Russian goals.”
Nunes won’t change, of course.

Will Hurd is influenceable. So are some of the others.

More importantly, make an example out of a few and a whole lot of others will be in no hurry to catch a Moscow Mitch nickname of their own.
