The attacks on @RachelRileyRR tell you in a microcosm everything you need to know about the hard left Corbyn cult and why jews dread the idea of a @UKLabour government with @jeremycorbyn as PM. RR is a Jewish woman who (I hope she will forgive me) rather naively tweeted about JC.

I say naively because having not previously been politically involved she was, as she admits, wholly unprepared for and shocked by the vitriol and bile that was to be visited upon her in consequence of that tweet. She could have been forgiven had she decided this was not for her

Instead, to her immense credit, she declined to take the easy option and walk away. She educated herself on the subject of antisemitism and took the fight to the antisemites and has become an important and eloquent voice in the struggle. For that she is loathed by the Corbyn cult

Yesterday a new low was reached. In response to her sporting a satirical shirt mocking Corbyn she was preposterously slammed as a racist whitewashing apartheid and a coordinated campaign of abuse was initiated which calls for her being sacked from Countdown.

Pause to think about that for a moment. Criticism of Corbyn however mild results in abuse, harassment and if they have their way, loss of employment. Now just imagine these people with the power of government behind them. It does not bear thinking about.

It however is worse than that. The whole premise of the campaign against her is founded on lies. Worse still Corbyn knows it is a lie but allows it to be perpetuated by his followers and in his name. The lie is that Corbyn was an important voice in the struggle against apartheid

and that the picture which was emblazoned on the shirt was an Antiapartheid message, evidence of Corbyn putting himself on the line in the fight against apartheid. Most of his supporters peddling this lie are too young and/or too ignorant to know or discover the facts.

The facts are that Corbyn was arrested outside the South African embassy. He had attended the non stop picket organised by the City of London Antiapartheid group. If the story ended there he might be able to rely on it as support for his Antiapartheid credentials. It does not.

The City of London branch of the Antiapartheid movement had earlier been hijacked by an obscure ultra left sect rejoicing in the name Revolutionary Communist Group(Marxist-Lenninist). They had been disavowed by the mainstream movement. Their non stop picket had been disavowed too

Against the express wishes of the ANC, whose struggle it was and from whom those of us involved took our lead, the picket continued. The white left in the UK knew better how to conduct the struggle against apartheid than the representatives of the South African people themselves

Corbyn was among those arrogant condescending white leftists. Toxic far left politics coupled with self promotion and vanity led to his attendance and arrest. The placard inevitably was less to do with the issue than himself. His involvement was ego driven self aggrandisement

As can be seen therefore the message on the shirt lampooning Corbyn did not erase an important Antiapartheid message at all. Nor was Corbyn,at the time of the photograph concerned, acting in concert with the Antiapartheid movement rather against it.

The only racism here is the wholly unwarranted and ludicrous attacks on @RachelRileyRR who should receive only solidarity and support from antiracists and all decent people. Think, if this is what they do to someone like her now what will they do to "lesser mortals" if in power?
