Hey don’t make it weird but just a PSA about my gender:

I’m a trans man AND nonbinary. That’s a thing, and it doesn’t make me less male. This is not a SUBTRACTION to my gender, but an addition.

Like... GenderPlus™
I’ve only ever seen nonbinary as being framed or explained as being a “partial” or “absence of” gender in some way.

It doesn’t feel that way for me.

It’s not that I feel like less of a man. It’s that I feel like a man ~and more~.
I initially chose my name (Aaron) because of its fluidity. Because it mainly reads as male, but phonetically has some fluidity to it. That’s the literal perfect example of what I’m trying to say here. MalePlus™

Trans man with a little extra gender
My pronouns are still he/him. I am still the same person. And again I am *still a trans man*. There’s just more nuance to gender than that, and this is my experience. This is MY experience of being a trans man. It’s what it is 🤷🏻‍♂️
Anyway I’d love for folk not to be rude about that, not to categorize me as less male because of this — again it’s really important to me that people address this as an ADDITION and not a SUBTRACTION to who I am and my identity.
Please don’t turn this into a debate, honestly I’ll just delete the tweets, scuttle back into the closet, and act like it never happened lmao

Anyway that’s all ✌🏻✨
This has nothing to do with being more “feminine” or “masculine”

This has literally nothing to do with my gender presentation. It’s literally just the way I experience gender. It’s not something noticeable to anyone other than me.
There is just like an EXTRA part of me, that spans beyond my maleness, that I can’t erase, regardless as to whether or not i address it.

It’s just there, I literally don’t know what else to tell you
Anyway it’s not something I feel the need to make a big deal about or bring up repeatedly

I just wanted to throw it out there at least once so it’s like, out there 🤷🏻‍♂️
