A lot of businesses fail or begin to see a decline, bc they fail to understand where the market of their particular industry is going. Some businesses get on top and think they’re untouchable, bc they’ve “mastered” the current market, only to fall later bc they weren’t
Keeping up with current trends, paying attention to shifts, or listening to their evolving customer’s needs. That’s why business like forever 21 and Victoria’s Secret started struggling, bc they failed to keep up with shifts in the market & the way their customers shop
I personally think rebranding is necessary for businesses that have been around for decades, bc the ppl who were shoooing with them 10-15 yrs ago are not longer their demographic. They have to pay attention to what the current customer wants NOW, not 10 yrs ago...
Rebranding is also necessary for businesses that are in markets that evolve quickly, like technology and even online SW. Because social media & the internet and the way we use it is constantly evolving, it’s important to get in front of the market shifts & rebrand as needed
Same goes for businesses like consultant services, life coaching, social media influencers, etc. What worked 6 months ago may not work now, bc markets become saturated w/ppl jumping on the bandwagon trying to get a piece of the pie. And when SM platforms catch onto how much
Money these brands are making, they will change their policies to try to stop ppls bag so they can get their cut.
So if you’re on top now, be grateful for it, but know that too spot is not guaranteed. You’re only as good as today’s success, tomorrow you could be irrelevant.

It’s also a good idea to rebrand while you’re on top, bc it’s difficult to get customers interested in your new brand image after you’ve already become irrelevant. Rihanna is a perfect example of this. We were begging for new music and she gave us lingerie, makeup, and fashion
And she’s highly successful bc we were checking for her before she rebranded.
Speaking of shifts in the market, get ready for another shift in online SW next year and over the next 2 yrs or so. Changes w/IG and even Twitter make these changes inevitable.
And I anticipate a shift w/onlyfans too, but the main ppl who will likely be affected by it will be...nah nvm I’m not giving away all this free info. Just be prepared for change and act accordingly
