The rebuttal of “not all men” pisses me off bc for me personally almost all fems in my life have had countless encounters with abuse at the hands of men.... So until I can stop replying with “but almost all women”.. I just don’t wanna hear it.
Men want to hold women accountable for hurting their feelings by making sure “not all men” is mentioned at the criticism of a man...it would be nice if things like “women don’t deserve that from men” were said instead. The perspective is what’s insulting, not the literal phrase.
We can’t have change without accountability. If you feel like you have to say “not all men” think about what they’re critiquing men for in the first place. If the shoe doesn’t fit, don’t wear it. But also don’t let the people who do wear the shoes trample on whoever they want.
Society has been filled with only men controlling things for way too long. We need non shitty men to step up and help us. We need you to call out your bro’s. We need y’all to stop normalizing abuse in your daily language. We need y’all men to do better and help us.
Cause clearly men ain’t listening to women... they need to hear it from other bros

It’s sad that I feel like saying “DONT say all men” is more helpful in society then saying “don’t abuse women”
