Welcome to the first open declaration of Flight Liberation Front!
This is a movement which tries to voice the concerns, hopes and dreams of players who like to fly in World of Warcraft freely and it's open to every likeminded free player who does not want their wings to be cut and being forced to be grounded again and again.
Manifesto:
0) FLF has no real life political aims or seriousness besides having a truly fantastic fun time in World of Warcraft.
1) Flight does not ruin Immersion, bad quest and zone design does.
2) Flight does not let you skip content or dangers, if it does, with that logic Stealth equally allows you to skip similar content and dangers too.
3) Players can't level their characters or experience the story with just flying over content or just hiding in stealth, that's why neither should never be taken away once earned.
4) FLF strongly supports Flight-Leveling and Questing for all expansions and upcoming sub-zones, believes both Cataclysm and Mechagon have already proven this can work perfectly.
5) FLF strongly objects the obviously broken and illogical Pathfinder System, believes it's a very unfair method punishing for players and has to be removed completely.
6) FLF believes Shadowlands should also start with open flight, especially at leveling zones. After introduction, flight should be available and open as a method of travel for every player stepping in.
7) FLF believes we are supposed to be heroes who have defeated several world threatening dangers, flown over the lands of peril for years, grounding these heroes is just mockingly illogical.
8) FLF accepts a fair flight training design, which should be unlocked when players are at certain power level. Further speeds can be added at higher levels with various levels of training as usual.
9) FLF supports and encourages the use of Booterang-style PvP items and Air Patrol-like airzone limitation methods and mobs that can chase you in flight.
10) FLF also has zero problems with Battlegrounds being ground-only but thinks only ground mounts to be allowed at those places to preserve the fantasy and integrity. New Epic Battlegrounds may be designed with aerial battle in mind and then things may change, just for those.
11) FLF thinks being able to ride glorious Flying Mounts but grounding them to pathetic jumps at certain zones is illogical, unfair and wrong.
12) FLF honestly questions the point of being able to have more than 400 mounts yet not being able to fly with most of them for more than a year of every new content.
13) FLF has zero problems with people who like to play only on the ground, on the contrary it respects and supports their decision; FLF only wants the same option and freedom of choice the ground travellers have.
14) FLF strongly believes flight is a right and a method of travel all players have earned way back at World of Warcraft's first expansion: The Burning Crusade and is a crucial and integral part of Warcraft Fantasy.
15) Flight shouldn't be constantly taken back, limited or removed on any zone; on the contrary it should always be kept in mind as a default and even no-flight zones should be fixed and/or re-designed with flight and integrity of game fantasy in mind.
Don't let your wings to be cut:
