A better society really is possible. The NHS, abolishment of child labour, employment rights, free public schooling would have all been called impossible by naysayers. Then they happened. Some of the things being called impossible now have already been done, then rolled back
In the US, self-proclaimed moderates say universal free-at-point-of-use healthcare is impossible. Keep that in mind when you see similar doubters over here. Society can be organised how we want it to be, in a way that works for us. People used to think monarchy would last forever

Labour is genuinely the only major party actually talking about policy and trying to win people over to its vision, rather than just spreading disinformation, smearing opponents, trying to trick people into voting for them with fake “tactical” sites and trying to crush all hope
I know I’m biased, but it has still been striking how dirtily and negatively both the Tories and Lib Dems are playing things. Feels like a new nadir
