I’ll never forget my first shark sighting.. off of Bimini on a night dive. guide + I startled a sleeping 12ft. nurse.. it quickly stirred up the silt, blinding us. harmless fortunately. so much flashed before me.

these 2 are 8ft. white tip reef sharks

caught this sea turtle flying gracefully out to the blue (abyss) w/ a longfin batfish trailing. . . ::massive:: turtles found layin’ around. . turtle hatcheries protected by machine gun-toting militia

more traffic. . this time a school of yellowback fusiliers go cruisin’ by. . I tried to catch up to the parrotfish at the end. . their sand poop is what makes coral reefs. . respect! though the brown coral here is all but dead sadly

more of those longfin batfish here. . slightly larger than a 12” vinyl. . social fish, sometimes found in huge aquariums. . clever, they’re quick to learn feeding times, who feeds them + chill enuff to be hand fed

blueface angelfish are always cool to see. . so exotic . . this one tryin’ to hide from me

red spotted grouper are a highly-prized food fish. . often found in Malaysian airports for sale. . hard for me to consume something so beautiful

faintly visible huge shark too far outta range, likely a 10’ hammerhead. . I’m up against strong currents. . big sharks are savvy enuff to quickly maneuver behind divers + approach from the rear to investigate

no longer boring you, this’ll be my last clip. . back to this ball of fish aka bait ball. . slightly larger than a football in size. . was always my wish to infiltrate + become one w/ the fishes. . dreams really do come true
