Too much people confuse Libertarian and Capitalism. Those two are on a different dimensions. Simplified, political ideologies are just like the chart below

[Possibly a Thread]
Libertarian is the opposite of Authoritarianism and they are on the y axis. Representing the amount of government control in the nation
Authoritarianism as the name suggest means that government had full control over the people. The government is highly centralized and have a very limited political freedom.
Authoritarianism is mostly based on the idea that security and stability > Personal Freedom. So in a highly authoritarian nation personal rights and freedom is little to Non-existent.
Libertarian or Liberalism in the other hand values Freedom over anything else. People is valued much more than the government. The government is highly decentralized. Personal and Individual freedom is everything in a Libertarian nation.
Meanwhile Capitalism is the opposite of Socialism. These are in the x axis and what we usually refer to as Right and Left. Representing the market flow of the nation.
Capitalism or Right Ideologies values a free market. All resources are marketable.

Individuals and Companies are allowed to claim ownership over something like a land mass, water source, or other resources.
Considering the free market, problem in Capitalist countries are inequality among the people. The Gap between the rich and the poor are usually very high.
Socialism in the other hand, values equality over free market. Resources can't be claimed on a sole ownership and instead is owned by the society, hence the name Socialism.
The lack of a free market and high amount of equality makes competition in a socialist country is little to non-existent, which makes advancement much slower.

Why do something exhausting when you get the same reward as someone who does nothing ?
Communism is a combination of Authoritarianism and Socialism aiming to create a stable community with limited freedom and high equality.

In a True Communist Nation there's no ownership at all, everything is owned by the government. Meaning there's no company and also no market.
Soviet Union is the closest example of a Communist Nation although in the end it also embraced Capitalism
The US on the other hand had always been a Capitalist Libertarian, allowing a free market and a free individual. Hence why in the Cold war it's all about an ideological war.
This also birth a misconception about Capitalism = Libertarian and Socialism = Authoritarianism neither is true. You can be a Capitalist and Authoritarian or a Socialist and Libertarian
The 2 axis system is of course isn't enough to represent all ideologies.

Fascism and Nazism for example is an extreme authoritarian ideology but pretty balanced in the Capitalist & Socialist axis.
Instead, Fascism is a combination of Authoritarianism and Chauvinism.
Chauvinism is on a different axis, representing how much a nation valued to the community
Chauvinism, also known as Ultranationalism valued the nation over everything else. Hence why fascist nation are mostly aggressive. The believe is built on their nation is better than anything else.
The opposite of Chauvinism is Internationalism, which is where I am right now. To an Internationalist nation means nothing more than a place.

There's nothing special about your nation that makes it worth more than any other nation.
Even then, there's still some other political axis that goes unexplained, like Religion Values (Theocracy vs. Atheistics) and Bloodlines (Monarchy vs. Democracy)
As of Indonesia right now, IMO it's slowly moving to a Capitalistic Authoritarianism, same ideology as the New Order
