Look, here is an analysis of Taehyung's character in War of Hormone's MV and why the girl hugs him in the end instead of another member :
Taehyung is the one out of the seven who's the less pressing towards her all along the MV : https://twitter.com/Armeo_Jimliet_/status/1195288455011536896
Hardly highlighted, except in the chorus, but there's one detail that cancels this fact.
Because not only is he the less highlighted, but he's also less a predator than the others, less in these heterosexual norms for a man to behave.
Taehyung is often in the background in every scene : Nam's rap, biking scene, and even during Yoon's part when the boys try to
-- trap the girl inside the building, Taehyung is looking up the scene far from the others, at the corner on the right of the screen, and he doesn't take part of the trap.
The only moment he's highlighted is during the chorus, but, as I already said it, one detail cancels that :
He's totally gay panicking each time he's touching a man's butt. His first, but then Jimin's when he slaps him, and by the way the camera focuses on his face to catch every single second of his reaction, which is proof of its importance.
Anyway, in the MV, he doesn't help the girl that much, but he doesn't harasses her either, and the fact that he's the one she hugs in the end denounces the behavior of the others towards her and the fact women have to choose the least worst one instead of the best --
-- at the same time.
I'd add up to this that he's the only one sucking a lollipop, which can reminds of some phallic symbol.
Each boy has a caricatured behavior, and it shows that we can't take the MV and the song at face value : it doesn't preach rape culture, but denounces it on the contrary.
I have so much more to tell about this MV and the lyrics, but I've found the analysis of Tae's character very interesting.
(Last but not least : I'd say that the MV goes beyond that and denounces toxic masculinity: Taehyung seems to be the most sensitive of all of them, but to be like the others and not to risk to be categorized as "repressed gay" or not manly enough, he is a follower
-- of his comrades who incarnate this toxic and manly behavior.)
