There's a large overlap between the MAP and so called "problematic shipper" community. Many people making pedophilic content for fandoms are following and being followed by MAPs

Many MAPs identify as some manner of LGBT+ and use LGBT+ terms and rhetoric, but the majority of them are following queerphobic, far right figures.

Many MAPs have an active and intense disdain and even hatred for children and especially CSA victims.

Many MAPs are following minors.

Despite claiming that they're just like everyone else, accounts that self-ID as MAP in their bio almost always do nothing but post about being pedophiles, yelling at people who are uncomfortable around them, nonstop. There is no "normal" content.

Both MAPs and the "problematic shipper" community use the same terms. "Antis" is used widely by both communities to describe their detractors.
