The mistake this author makes, as do most #Democrats, is thinking an #impeachment & Senate trial are a legal trial. They are not. The argument is simple: The President sought to use the power of his office for potential personal gain. It is the job of Congress to decide if this abuse of power warrants removing the President. A reasonable person could disagree that it does. That is why persuasion is critical
