P.s. some of the most important gintsu scenes in red spider is non-canon/altered to pander to shippers and i hate how it gives off wrong implications

The anime’s dialogue feels like it’s some kind of love confession when that’s really not the point. It’s about how emotional vulnerability can be a big stepping stone to tsukuyo, who’s still binded by Jiraia’s constricted teachings on how to build her character

-It’s not about romance, It’s about how you can find merit in forming human connections despite the pain it might bring you in the future, and about how forming these connections will shape you into a better person.

Which is why im upset they cut this line out; “That’s all they want from you. They’ll lend an ear or a shoulder... carry a heavy load, and walk beside you when you need it.”
