/ Right now I work in the White Collar Factory, in the heart of London’s "Silicon Roundabout". It’s a great building, aimed at tech workers. But I can't bear the sexist 'day in the life' promo video in the lobby anymore! How bad is it? Come with me...
/ Our London tech worker is young, fresh, white, and already perfectly made-up. In fact, she looks like a model. Now off to work - totally colour-coordinated. Adorbs.
/ Next she parks her bike and changes to 3 inch heels - perfect for walking around the narrow pavements of Old Street. Time for coffee but wait - she’s distracted by a cute guy in the coffee shop.
/And now she’s finally at work and it's meeting time - a guy is mansplaining while our heroine leans fetchingly over the table in a skimpy top. Whoops! It’s too hot for her. Time to abandon her meeting and enjoy a sexy breeze!!
/Lunchtime at last! She’s hitting the running track and her reward is a mouthful of delicious salad! Once she’s finished with that. time for a shower and a sexy hair flip.
/And finally, let's refresh that all-important lipstick and finish off the workday with some bubbly and a girlfriend on the roof. Ahh.
/ You can see this masterwork in its entirety here. http://whitecollarfactory.com/blog/day-life-wcf-tenant. @derwentlondon PLEASE think twice about what you are saying to female tech workers. We're here to do our jobs, not fuss around with boyz, heels, bubbles and makeup. #everydaysexism
