4/ When you center *everything* around Cold War politics, you are basically continuing the colonial project, and insinuating that 2 big white powers are the only people with agency on Earth, and the only groups that matter.

5/ Consider specifying *which* "imperialist" you are talking about when you use that word. Are you talking about the US and UK? That's fine, but be specific. Because otherwise I am assuming you are talking about all imperialists...

6/ Like China's imperialism in (contested) Xinjiang where they are disappearing the Uighurs who lived there before the Han showed up. Or Russia's aggression in Georgia, Ukraine, Syria, etc. Or Turkey's invasion and ethnic cleansing in Rojava. Etc...

7/ Whether it's "CIA-backed" or "imperialist" or whatever Leftist buzzword, we (especially in the West) need to be very careful about how and when we use them. Too often, they are used to whitewash real crimes against real people, and create spin/nonsense.
