Progressively as the last 3 seasons have gone on, Kane’s positioning has got deeper and deeper.

In 16/17 and 17/18, Kane played at his best and most comfortable position, still dropping deep but mainly always in the final third.

In 18/19, Dele and Eriksen wasn’t filling their roles, due to injury and poor form.

This meant we lacked creativity, therefore Kane dropped deeper to create chances and not so much being the one completing the chances.

Now in 19/20, Kane has dropped deeper than ever before, no where close to where he should be.
