I saw an online questionnaire that’s supposed to help determine if one should seek an autism diagnosis. One question: Do you remember birthdays? Another: Would you rather go to a party or a library?
Uh, no. Go get an #ActuallyAutistic person to write these questions.

What really pisses me off is that allistics look for how we appear to them, whereas autistics ask questions about how we experience life. I used a list of questions composed by an autistic adult as a means of communicating to my doc and therapist about my autism. So helpful!
