We need to flush out all the current political parties that are a legacy of the civil war (or any war). We want new political parties based on programs that improve our economy and our policies as well as not be governed or motivated by a sect. #لبنان_ينتفص كلن_يعني_كلن

If we keep informing the next decisions based on old (moot) grudges we will never move forward. The past is for us to learn from. If the past is simply a catalyser for revenge, then we have not improved as human beings.

During the civil war, my building was bombed by a series of 5-6 shelling in a row. We did not have a shelter. We were hiding in the common area of the first floor. The shelling hit our 4th floor and shook the buildings for seconds that felt like a lifetime.

So I beg you, do not talk to us as if we don't know what civil war is. People fought each other for made-up delusional ideologies. The only thing we the people need to focus on are:
1- Improving the state of our economy (by demanding our officials to do their jobs)

2- Hold our politicians accountable, and the guilty ones to rot in jail for their corruptions, murders etc..
3- Not spread rumors, to check sources, to not have double standards

The last one is what hold all the meaning, asks, treatment, behavior that anyone can ask for anywhere in the world. This should start from ourselves. And one more thing:
4- Do not adore or follow a leader blindly. They're rich, and we're paying the price.

It's quite hard to simplify a very complex thing in few tweets. But also maybe sometimes, simplicity of values is essential.
