There is this young lady who cooks for a college senior. Her family was being pestered by soul harvesters to the point that her younger sister had already started wearing a cross. This made my senior very cross and we decided to take Dharma in our hands and do something.
Thus began a small scale pilot project ghar wapsi. Senior being a devotee of Shri Ram, began with reciting Sunderkand when the sisters would work. Took him a couple of weeks until the cross around the younger kid's neck came off. Then began daily lectures on Hindu Dharma.
A month went by, the two sisters and my senior learnt much about Dharma in the process. By the time he was done, one good family had come back to the fold. Effect was so profound the two sisters kept fast for Ram Mandir like some of us did.

The story has not ended yet.
Last evening we caught the harvesters roaming in our vicinity. Elder sister pointed them out so like all bad criminals we decided to take the law in our hands.

We went down, got hold of these militant missionaries, invited them home for a cup of tea.
Once they stepped in, doors were bolted, laathis were brought out and tea was duly kept to brew. We talked to nicely for 10 minutes until we understood there is absolutely no point debating them. You dont debate with a radical. So we made them an offer they could not refuse.
Laathi or Chai. It was explained to them the nearest PS is way beyond earshot and the public best not be involved in their interest. It was explained that if they choose laathi, the consequences will be beyond bearable because their god may be merciful, we most certainly are not.
What did they cowards do ? They silently sipped tea with tails between their legs. We asked them if we will have the pleasure of seeing them again. This is when there was some bagawat ki boo and trust me we do not brook bagawat. One tight slap later, the boo was gone.
Of all logics against rabid missionaries, violence works best.
Who did I learn it from?
The Japanese.
How did it work?
Sublimely.
They swore they will not go harvest in our vicinity. We swore we will come for them if they did. The story is still unfolding. Let us see how it goes.
