To those accusing Israel of genocide against the Palestinian people -

Please stop. Genocide has a definition. Accusing Israel of genocide is factually incorrect & contributes to the demonization of Israel, which inspires real violence against Jews & Israelis in/outside Israel.

The Palestinian people face real suffering. Some of that is Israel’s fault. Some of it isn’t. Israel & Palestine/Palestinians are engaged in a violent & ugly conflict. False accusations of genocide are not necessary to highlight that suffering.

That it even needs to be stated that Israel is not committing genocide speaks to the absurdity of the distortion w/ which some see/relate to Israel, the entrenched nature of the propaganda surrounding this conflict, & how many toxic the conversation about these issues is.

“The [Palestinian] population growth rate stands high at 2.8% and it is expected to remain stable due to decline in mortality rates while fertility rate remains one of the highest in the Arab region.”

Let that sink in. Those claiming genocide would have you believe that while Israel - w/ one of the most sophisticated militaries & control over much Palestinian territory - is committing genocide, Palestinian mortality rates are DECLINING & fertility rates among HIGHEST in MENA.

Again, claiming that Israel is committing genocide is absurd in the extreme.
