Right?!
1. It implies that not western culture is inherently transphobic/homophobic/sexist compared to western culture.
2. The western tradition has similar rules actually, (Moon and Venus for men or women who like women, Sun or Mars or Jupiter for ppl who like men). (1/) https://twitter.com/adinahertzel/status/1194777168682901504
3. I don’t think Vik is inherently any of those things but I mean what does it cost to go even further with inclusivity by seeing if the same astrological concepts apply regardless. (2/)
4. I’m not as familiar with the Vedic system, so I’m not going to comment on things without knowing more first. But I would hope that there are people in the field who are working on making their astrology more inclusive. (3/)
5. You can call out the transphobia/homophobia/sexism in both western and Vedic astrology without it being biased or discriminatory like come on y’all do better.
6. People who probably resorted to those arguments probably know very little about what they’re commenting on. (end)
