Unless you've been living under a rock for the past six months, you know Missouri has been at the forefront of state efforts to end access to abortion for its citizens. Turns out, the whole world has been watching us. And that includes Oversight Committee member @LacyClayMO1
Missouri's extreme tactics taken to limit access to abortion have resulted in only one health clinic licensed to provide abortions in the state, and they are in the midst of trying to do legal and regulatory jiu jitsu to close that center down and block access for Missourians.
This hearing comes after @GovParsonMO's health director, Randall Williams (whom I am told is a doctor) began requiring medically invasive and unnecessary pelvic exams for abortion patients 72 hours before a procedure...

... and more recently @HealthyLivingMo Williams admitted under oath that health department officials compiled information about Planned Parenthood patients’ menstrual cycles.

This hearing coming in the middle of a week of #impeachment hearings sends a strong signal that the @HouseDemocrats are amped up about protecting access to abortion and that it will likely remain a high priority throughout 2020.
