The lesson of the day is that you can be an awful person who judges people based on narrow stereotypes ("hockey culture" is full of unworldly, bullying "white boys"), but as long as you're on political Left, everything is a-ok

I see that #firejessallen is trending. I don't think she should be fired (and of course, she won't be) but you can't deny that she was making a bigoted argument based on stereotypes. If she had done that about any other group, I imagine she'd have been fired already.
