My sister is heading to KL & Singapore this weekend. It& #39;s her first trip abroad & her first time on a plane since she was 3yo.
She asked me all sorts of stuff: cabin luggage limits, how to handle immigration, places to visit, regulations to follow, etc.
It got me introspecting.

For the longest time, I& #39;ve been treating travelling as a habit, something that& #39;s regular. I now realize how massively privileged I& #39;ve been, to travel to many places and almost all of them on someone else& #39;s dime.
My sister saved up her daily allowances just to make this trip.

I teared up when she said this:
"Every time mom and I drop you off at the airport, a part of me wonder what it& #39;s like to follow you, get on a plane, and fly away. I cannot believe my dream is finally happening."
The excitement in her eyes.
The joy in her voice.
All priceless.
