the whole storyline is a simulation, chan and hyunjin are the only ones aware, jeongin is slowly becoming aware and jisung... might have an idea: a theory thread #Astronaut
first of all, let’s go to long back. as in 2017. let’s talk about hellevator. this isn’t chan, hyunjin or jeongin related, but it’s about jisung. see how in the whole video he seems annoyed, upset or angry about something? no one knows what he’s upset about, but what i think is
that jisung knows something is off, something’s not right, and so he seems agitated, but he’s not aware of the whole thing being a simulation, or fake. jisung’s also the first one to take the elevator to ‘hell’ and i think it’s because he wanted to get OUT of there.
the city’s also upside down, which might hint to the whole world being imaginary. so the main storyline of all their songs up to miroh is them trying to reach this city, but what they don’t know is that none of it is real.
moving on to district 9. it starts with chan walking in the garden while everyone else is looking at the plants (?) and then him alone. after that, he notices sunlight on a plant and sees it blooming, and i think that’s when he realizes that something’s wrong all of them have to
get out of district 9. thats why he starts running back, to plan their escape, and everyone else is just blissfully unaware of everything.
but then. chan gives the red scroll thing to the other boys with the message to get out of there, and nobody reacts except hyunjin, who looks at chan. this means hyunjin is aware, but he just realized that he’s not the only one who knows that this is all wrong.
they leave district 9 at night, their bus breaks the barrier which shatters like glass, and then it suddenly turns to day? a glitch in the simulation, perhaps?
my pace. there’s not a lot of theory stuff except glitching, but there’s a LOT of glitching. the whole mv has glitches everywhere.
glitching pt. 2
moving on to i am you. they’ve reached this building on the way to the city. there’s not a lot of theory stuff i could find here though
but!! we see jisung going to the camera and throwing it away, as if he knows that they’re being watched.
here’s them laughing and having fun because they’re my babies and i want them to smile like this forever
the wonderful merry-go-round!!! which we will see a lot in the future, like in the astronaut mv. but that’s for later
let’s talk about miroh. they finally reached city jungle, aka the city they’ve been dreaming to reach since hellevator, but it’s run by corrupt politicians, and so chan and seungmin make a plan to overthrow them and then escape.
but again (i know i keep coming back to it, i’m sorry) let’s talk about glitches. in miroh, there’s glitching behind changjin when they’re rapping, but that’s not the important glitch. the important glitch is felix.
everyone noticed the glitching, but did anyone notice what was in the glitch? (i’m not sure, i’ve not seen anyone talk about it) there’s city jungle, but there’s also a space shuttle. does that mean miroh predicted the globe, solar system thing in astronaut??
in the trailer for yellow wood, they’re back on the terrace, and they take the elevator. ‘L’ leads them to city jungle once again.
but then chan takes out a key out of nowhere, which takes them to yellow wood. how did he get the key? no one knows. but if this whole world is a simulation, it is possible for a key to appear out of nowhere. even chan looks confused after taking the key out of his pocket.
then there’s side effects mv, where things get darker. the whole video is hyunjin realizing that things are very wrong, and how they’re all being watched. he seems agitated the whole video
he even pulls away the camera from seungmin, and ends up fighting with him, because he knows that cameras are not safe, they’re being watched everywhere. just like jisung in my pace.
then the double knot prologue video. the focus of the story shifts from hyunjin to chan. chan opens a door, and no one knows what the door is for. but, i think astronaut might give us an idea. but that’s later.
double knot mv. there’s cameras everywhere, they’re being watched all the time.
we see hyunjin running, and he finds a key, the same key that chan used to open the white door in the double knot trailer. why did chan drop the key? is it to tell hyunjin that this is the way out of the simulation?
then there’s this shot. it always confused me, how chan stands up first and then everyone else after him, but now i think it’s to symbolize that he left the simulation first (with the key and white door) and now he’s taking everyone else out too. and he’s starting with hyunjin.
the last and final mv, astronaut. we see chan talking into a walkie talkie, and hyunjin with the solar system ball thing.
hyunjin runs through the building with red drapes, and find chan in front of the door with the walkie talkie, waiting for him. so, chan was talking to him through the walkie talkie, telling him how to get himself out of the simulation.
you might think, why hyunjin? why didn’t chan tell anyone else??? i’ll answer that. remember side effects? chan and the others found hyunjin lying down as if he was either sleeping or in deep thought, and his entire behavior in that mv seems as if he knows what’s going on.
so chan might have figured out that hyunjin knew it was all false, and decided to get him out of there before anyone else.
now moving on the jeongin. see this scene.
everyone seems to be frozen, staring straight ahead. but once hyunjin goes away, jeongin turns his head to the side, which means he’s the only one who’s not in a trance.
the last merry-go-round scene shows jeongin alone. now hear me out on this: what if the merry-go-round is a portal for the people inside the simulation?
in i am you, they’re all happily going around it, and in the next mv which is miroh, they get transported to city jungle. coincidence? i don’t think so.
and so in astronaut, no one’s in the merry-go-round except jeongin, and that’s because hyunjin and chan are out of the simulation, and the rest got transported through the portal because they still don’t know that it’s a simulation.
so in conclusion, chan and hyunjin are out of the simulation, and jeongin’s next. this is what i think about the whole storyline. the end.
continuing this thread because there’s a LOT of things from the levanter trailer and the map #StrayKidsComeback #Levanter
in the starting, we see jisung back in the field from hellevator, seungmin in the elevator from yellow wood, and jeongin and changbin in the tunnel from my pace.
but once jisung touches the dome, the tunnel starts getting destroyed (earthquake?). this could possibly be because now that they’re all aware of this being a simulation, the entire universe is collapsing. slowly, but surely. starting from the tunnel.
chan also uses the key from side effects on the elevator again, probably in hopes that it will help them get out, but obviously that doesn’t happen and the elevator goes into free fall. so the key is not the way out of the game.
let’s talk about felix. first we see him in the blue tunnel (room? what to call it?) and the next time theres a shot focused on him, it’s with the compass. what if the felix found the compass in the blue tunnel??
moving back to the others, they’re all in separate places throughout the trailer but in the end, we see them walking towards each other. what i think is that they figured out that there’s another door to get out of the simulation, so they split up into groups to find it.
then they meet up at the road (which i think is the one between the two doors on the map) but they’re not able to figure out where exactly the door is. and then they hear the eagle (which many people think represent stays, and i agree) calling out to them, and it leads them to +
+ the traffic light where they can find the door. so basically stays led stray kids to the way out of the simulation.
felix then takes out the compass, which then stops. immediately after that, the second door starts forming. so now they have the door, but they have to find the key, which+
+ i think is what they’ll show in the mv for levanter. i might be completely wrong though!!!
where’s the key though? it’s depicted in the map. see the bottle? i feel like the bottle holds the key to getting out of the simulation. but there’s a problem.
in hellevator, jisung broke the same bottle that we see in the map. so basically, they’re screwed. (or maybe they already have the key??? I DONT KNOW)
just saying, i might be completely wrong with this whole storyline and i probably am, but this is what makes most sense to me. what i’m trying to say is, stray kids’ mvs are way too smart for my dumb brain. the end. (until levanter comes out, at least)
NEVER MIND THEY JUST RELEASED LEVANTER’S MV TEASER SO I’M BACK #StrayKidsComeback #Levanter
the malfunctioning elevator took them somewhere, but where?? here’s what i think: it took them back to the field in hellevator.
the prism in the elevator is also shown somewhere else, and that is the pink field. plus, the door to lead them out of the simulation is again shown in the pink field. why? because they have to finish this whole thing at the place where they started.
this is very confusing, because i have no idea what they’re trying to do. why are they burning all the artifacts connecting them to this universe?? the elevator from hellevator, the bus ticket from side effects...
again, i’m convinced that this blue tunnel is where felix found the compass, and that’s why it’s being shown so much.
they’ve found the door to get them out of the simulation, but where’s the key?
answer - the eagle’s gonna lead them to it. more specifically, it’s gonna lead minho to the key, which looks like the mini version of the bottle that jisung broke in hellevator. again, they’re finishing off where they started.
so basically - chan found the first door, him and hyunjin led the others through it, felix found the second door with the help of the compass and minho is gonna find the key to get them out of the game.
LET’S TALK ABOUT LEVANTER MV BECAUSE A LOT OF IT ACTUALLY LINES UP TO THIS THEORY #StrayKidsComeback #Cle_LEVANTER #StrayKids_Levanter #스트레이키즈_바람
it starts again with the door getting formed, and i still think it shows that they’ve found the door, but they need to find the key to it, which they eventually do (or minho eventually does)
like i said before, the imaginary world looks like it’s falling apart. and i think this could be because they’ve all realized that where they are is not a real place, it’s an imaginary world and so the world itself is collapsing
its a whole circle, they started the journey in hellevator and now they’re back in the same field, but this time to get out of the simulation.
this looks like it’s a floating compass of sorts, so felix probably found the “broken compass” in the blue tunnel place
when chan holds the door open for them, one side of the field is pink and the other is brown. which could mean that one (pink field) is imaginary and the other one is the real field
here’s them being happy and smiley after getting out of the simulation (probably)
at the end, we also see the two moons (that’s been bugging everyone since side effects) fuse together to form one single moon. this could probably mean that the red moon was imaginary or from the simulation, while the white moon was real +
and now that they’re out of the simulation, the moons have fused to become the one single, actual moon (or sun??? cause it’s so bright???)
“step out of clé” - step out of the imaginary world of clé. and after hellevator, district 9, my pace, i am you, miroh, yellow wood and double knot, they finally did.
