Veg of the week!

It’s in season in the UK from August until the end of November

This the most commented upon vegetable that we grow. When people see it for the first time they are genuinely amazed by it and what nature can do.
Most people ask what is it, how do I cook it and what does it taste like?

Some of the more random comments we’ve had about it include:
Spiky cauliflower
Looks like it grows under the sea.
I might put it on my mantlepiece.
Looks too good to eat.
Alien food!
It is a member of the cauliflower family and you cook it in the same way as you wouid a cauli.
We think it tastes like a cross between broccoli and cauliflower.
Fun fact - It is also known as the maths lovers vegetable as the design of the vegetable is a perfect example of the Fibonacci spiral sequence that is found throughout nature.

But what is the vegetable of the week?
