Things like
-framerate issues
-poor draw distance
-pokemon being cut
Are all objectively true
But whether or not they negatively impact the experience is 100% subjective

This is why people can list off problems a game has and still give it a 9/10, whatever good there was outweighed the bad.
The existence of something in a game being "bad" doesn't necessarily mean that its actively detrimental to the experience

For someone like me, I don't try to catch every pokemon, I just stick to stuff I think looks cool, and if something isn't in the game, then oh well I'll find something else
So if I docked points for that because OTHERS might find it to be a big problem, that would be insincere

Biases are what make reviews informative. No one is without bias, you simply need to be aware of what other peoples biases are.
A review that tries to judge it against a set of arbitrary standards is EXTREMELY reductionist. You're basically saying "do not engage with a game on its own terms, only compare it to something else"
That's what leads to games like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon getting poor reviews.
