1/ The #ImpeachmentHearings are underway. Here are a few things you should know re the process:

* Both Chairs give opening statements
* Both witnesses give opening statements
* Dem staff lawyer will ask questions for 45min
* Repub staff lawyer will ask questions for 45min

2/ Following the 90 minutes of questions from the staff lawyers, Chairman Schiff may decide to being another round of questions from staff lawyers. Once those rounds of questions conclude, it will move to questions from Committee members. Each member will have 5 minutes.

3/ These 5minute question sections are where you can expect to hear a lot of bullshit speeches from both sides. The substance will likely be in the opening statements and staff lawyer question rounds. #ImpeachmentHearings
