#xspoilers Hickman has turned Cyclops into the ULTIMATE Dad. Just out doing the mutant equivalent of waxing his car talking to his son. This is channeling his most perfect characterization. Hickman maybe writing the best Scott ever right now? Ive just about landed there.

#xspoilers More thoughts on X-Men 2 & DOX in general. Scott Summers is finally OK again. Hes worked through his issues & is in a good place now. He can FINALLY be the Dad hes always wanted to be. He can FINALLY lead all Mutants. Hes healthy! Hes happy! Its an incredible thing

#xspoilers Thats the thing I love most about this book. Its no longer the X-Men's trials & tribulations at extinction. They have survived their crucible & they can just BE now. And really thats all weve wanted. These books are full of joy. Just amazing stuff

#xspoilers For years Cyclops has been the stern leader figure always going "Oh, I dont know Wolverine, lets not be cool" & Hickman has unlocked the way for this to be true as well as making Cyclops awesome by putting him in the Dad role. Its perfect

#xspoilers Now you fully EXPECT Scott to be a huge ol dork but instead of hating him for it, it only makes him more endearing!! Cyclops now is the DAD of the X-Men. Fall in line, listen to his order & his dad jokes. Its a brand new Dawn of X people and I am fucking here for it!
