For past week I’ve had the incredible opportunity to use the new 16" MacBook Pro as my main machine! Thankful to for sending it to me, feel free to ask me any questions you have about it
Sharing my experience and thoughts so far in thread

The keyboard has been updated (FINALLY) and it’s so much better than the butterfly keyboard. The new Magic keyboard has brought back the satisfying click-iness! Typing feels much easier and more natural on the 16" MacBook Pro.
The screen size of the new MacBook is noticeably bigger than the 15" MacBook Pro, it feels like more than an inch! Less bevel on the sides makes a huge difference. Also you can even see in the photo how beautiful the Retina display looks

I was so eager to see what the build times would be on the 16" MacBook Pro. After cloning my repos I got ready to build the @Calm app which is about 97k lines of code (excluding Pods).
The 16" MacBook Pro is much faster for fresh builds and incremental builds in Xcode. Some stats below for the @Calm app:
MBP 15":
216 seconds for a fresh build
7 seconds for an incremental build
MBP 16":
135 seconds for a fresh build
2 seconds for an incremental build
MBP 15":
216 seconds for a fresh build
7 seconds for an incremental build
MBP 16":
135 seconds for a fresh build
2 seconds for an incremental build
One thing that was extremely noticeable is how QUIET the 16" MacBook Pro is. While running Xcode usually my computer sounds like its running a full marathon
but I barely heard a peep from the new one!! Even if the fans started up they didn’t stay on for long at all.

Battery life has improved too! Usually I have my computer plugged in all day because Xcode drains my 15" MBP so quickly. I charged the 16" MBP to 100% & then used it all day with several apps running Xcode, Simulator, Github Desktop, Pritunl, Slack & Safari. Lasted 8 hours

Here are the spec differences between the 16" and my current 15" inch MacBook Pro. 8TB is just WOW. I don’t think I’ll ever reach max storage lol. Also 64 GB of RAM
I feel like the days of getting the “running out of memory, close application” warnings are far behind me!

Overall I think it’s clear that I’m pretty stoked about the #MacBookPro16. It’s the most powerful MacBook Pro yet

Let me know your thoughts!
