like yeah it's about ghost fights and posing but it's also a story about intergenerational trauma and whether or not we're destined to repeat the mistakes of the past

there's this very interesting thread throughout the series about fate vs will and self-determination and who's able to escape the trappings of the past vs who isn't. the zeppeli's are the most obvious example - dying over and over for the sake of the JoJo and their development.

but going back to my original point it amuses me deeply how the dynamics in each JoJo group are almost the same. you have the loudmouthed maverick, the revenge obsessed 'family over everything' sidekick, moronic well meaning himbo, etc. oh, araki.
