The #METEORproject is a collaboration between 8 international partners. Regular meetings allow us to co-develop products and discuss outputs as they are produced. Here are *some* of the members of our team....
This week we are being hosted by our Nepalese partners @NSETNepal1. Ganesh Jimee, Suman Pradhan and Sharad Wagle bring a great depth of knowledge and have been instrumental in the development of exposure and hazard data for Nepal.
The exposure data for all of the 47 ODA countries is being produced by @ImageCatInc. Shubharoop Ghosh has joined us this week to discuss plans for the #METEORprojects sustainability.
Targeted building surveys are being completed in Nepal and Tanzania by @hotosm. In Nepal this effort is lead by @KTMLivingLabs. Gaurav Thapa and Bhawak Pohkrell are here to describe their methodology to us today. HOT’s METEOR work is coordinated by Mhairi O’Hara.
Nicole Paul ( @nicopurr) and Anirudh Rao have joined us in Nepal from @GEMwrld. Anirudh and Nicole will be producing vulnerability data for different building types to different hazards for Nepal and Tanzania.
The monitoring and evaluation for the #METEORproject on behalf of the @spacegovuk and @cariboudigital is being conducted by @OPMglobal. Bimal Regmi (Nepal), Shamim Zakaria (Tanzania) and Luca Petrarulo have been conducting our midline review.
The PI for the #METEORproject @ColmJordan and PM Kay Smith have been here in Nepal for a week, meeting with stakeholders and discussing initial results. I’ve now joined them to discuss our plans for the multihazard methodology and participate in our technical stakeholder meetings
