If there's one thing I don't really want to see after this election is us patting ourselves on the back for preventing UKIP from winning any seats.
We reacted similarly to the results of the European election when little pathetic fascists like Tommy Robinson lost their runs and the thing is, it doesn't mean anything, because they were running for a party that had been replaced by an also far-right Brexit Party.
Short of a total defeat for the Tories, no election result could be classed as a failure of the far right in the UK. No election since 2001 can be described as such. They have been continuously on the march since then, increasing their vote just enough to cause political ripples.
Cheap shots at the utter thundercunt that is Nigel Farage that he's "never won a seat" are not going to change that he and his horde of demonic forces have over the decade influenced UK politics just enough to push the Overton window far, far to the right.
Unless there is any evidence that has changed, unless we somehow between here and December teach the British to unlearn their various hatreds, nothing will have fundamentally changed.
Show me a total reversal in far-right (Tory, Brexit, UKIP) fortunes, or it will not be a victory.
