The figures presented yesterday are the World Bank’s genuine figures, but even a quick google of ‘Nigeria remittances’ would have prompted a 2013 story where Fianna Fáil raised concern, and surely then to Michael Noonan’s PQ reply rubbishing the WB figures https://www.kildarestreet.com/wrans/?id=2013-05-28a.275
Grealish of course entitled to query the disparity between the World Bank figures and the CSO’s own data, but the televised forum of Leaders Questions where the government is expected to reply on the hoof - and not a PQ where it can research an answer first - is… interesting
