Still basking in reflected glory from @kirk_a97 winning outstanding entry @BJTC_UK awards last night from over 250 entries with 47 courses eligible to enter as well as best radio documentary so bear with me for a thread. It’s 6 yrs since I joined @UniNorthants.....

@nosylocaljourno and I wrote a Multimedia Journalism degree in 4 weeks & got it validated. This year not only did @kirk_a97 win two awards but also @kayleepoloczek won an award from the Birmingham Press club. Some students have just returned from an outstanding trip to Berlin....

Organised by @adrian_warner 30 yrs on from the fall of the Berlin Wall and as if that’s not enough @IronsideKate and I drove home last night planning the @BJTC_UK overnight coverage of #GeneralElection2019 Our radio station @NLiveRadio (which I also helped set up) is hosting.....

Coverage involving input from over 20 University journalism courses. It’s going to be quite a night. Oh & did I mention I got another course validated for sports journalism both accredited by @BJTC_UK? It’s been quite a journey & couldn’t do it without fantastic staff. Thank you.
